A Poughkeepsie man allegedly thought he could sneak some drugs into a correctional facility. It ended with him in handcuffs.

How many local people are going to try to sneak drugs into prisons and correctional facilities before somebody realizes that you're going to get caught?

Raequan M. Small, 28, of Poughkeepsie, NY was arrested and charged with two counts of promoting prison contraband in the second-degree, and violation of state sanitary code, according to a press release.

On November 11, Small entered the Greene County Correctional Facility while allegedly in possession of 10 grams of synthetic cannabinoid (marijuana) and 46 miscellaneous pills that he was attempting to pass to an inmate.

The variety of pills included, Trazodone, Oxcarbazepine, Naproxen, Hydrochlorothiazide, Lisinopril and Fluoxetine. None of these drugs are considered controlled substances.

Small was issued appearance tickets and is scheduled back in court at the end of the month.
