A 93-year-old woman from the Hudson Valley was robbed, police need your help finding the man who committed the crime.

State Police from Cortlandt responded to the Cortlandt Town Center for a reported robbery Thursday afternoon. A 93-year-old woman told authorities that as she parked in the handicapped parking area near Old Navy and man reached into her car and stole money from her purse.

Police describe the suspect as a white man in his late 20s or early 30s. He was seen wearing a white t-shirt and black hat.

The suspect approached the elderly woman from the driver’s side and demanded that she hand over her wallet. The wallet was inside the woman’s purse which was located on the passenger seat. When the 93-year-old refused to hand over her wallet the suspect reached across the victim, removed an undisclosed amount of cash from her wallet, and fled in a northerly direction.

A State Police K9 Lane conducted a track to locate the suspect but was unsuccessful.
