Police are asking people in the Hudson Valley to keep their eyes open for a woman who they say was abducted by her boyfriend.

According to WRGB, a car that the woman was forced into was seen in New Paltz on Wednesday. An image of the vehicle was apparently caught by traffic cameras.

29-year-old Zeniffa Sookram was seen being forced into the car by her boyfriend, Rafiek Yussef, near their home in Schenectady. The blue 2004 Nissan Maxima was last seen in New Paltz traveling South on the New York State Thruway. The car has Ohio plates that read FVD1890.

Anyone who sees Sookram or Yussef are asked not to approach them, but to immediately contact law enforcement.

Schenectady police say that 38-year-old Yussef may also go by the name of Leon Richardson. It's possible that the man and woman may still be in our area, or headed south. Police believe the man has friends in the Queens area.
