A Dutchess County Man with a number of prior DWIs is accused of driving drunk, rear-ending another car, and leaving the scene.

New York State Police from Wappinger charged Nathaniel White, 31, of Wappinger for driving while intoxicated and 1st-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, felonies.

Troopers were dispatched to a hit and run collision on All Angels Hill Road in the Town of Wappinger. A woman told police she was driving south on All Angels Hill Road when she was rear-ended by vehicle.

The suspected vehicle continued south on All Angels Hill Road. Moments later, police located second vehicle unoccupied.

Authorities soon spotted White walking on All Angels Hill Road in the area of Old All Angels Hill Road. Police identified White as the driver of the second vehicle and alleged he was intoxicated.

A criminal history revealed that White was operating the vehicle with revoked driving privileges due to previous DWI related arrests. He was charged with felony DWI due to three prior DWI related convictions within the previous 10 years.

White was arraigned in the Town of Wappinger Justice Court and remanded to the Dutchess County Jail without bail.
