Police: Man Pulls Woman Into CVS Bathroom, Sexually Abuses Her

A man is being held on $100,000 bond after he allegedly pulled a female into a CVS bathroom and sexually abused her.

On Tuesday July, 31, 2018 at approximately 4:44 p.m. a Town of Wallkill police officer responded to a sexual offense at the CVS Pharmacy on Route 211 east.

Upon arrival, the officer was met by a 25-year old female victim, who stated that she was forcibly touched by a man after he pulled her into the store's bathroom.

An investigation led tothe arrest of David Valentin, 48 years old, of
Pomona, NY. He was charged with Aggravated Sexual Abuse second-degree and Unlawful Imprisonment second-degree.

Valentin was arraigned and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $50,000 cash bail or $100,000 bond.

He is due back in court next week.
