Police Investigate Ulster County Crash That Left Woman in Critical Condition

The crash occurred just after midnight on Saturday.

On September 30, at approximately 12:12 am, State Police from Highland barracks investigated a single car motor vehicle accident involving a serious injury on State Route 44/55 at the intersection of Lucy Lane in the Town of Plattekill.

Stephanie T. Green, 36 of Beacon, NY was operating a 2008 Chevy Malibu, when she failed to negotiate a curve in the roadway, subsequently exiting the roadway striking a tree.

Green sustained serious injuries in the crash.

Green was transported to Vassar Brothers Medical Center where she was listed in critical condition.

Investigation of the accident is continuing.
