Police in Orange County are investigating and hoping for help after a local Popeye’s was robbed.

Last week, Town of Wallkill Police responded to reports of a robbery at the Popeye’s located at 264 Route 211 East.

The arriving officer was met by the store’s manager, the victim, who said when he exited the fast-foot restaurant, after closing, he was met by three masked men, two that were holding guns.

After taking a number of undisclosed items from the victim, the three men forced the store manager to allow them into the store, where they allegedly stole an unknown amount of money.

According to the victim, all three suspects were wearing masks and dark colored clothing. Anyone with information is asked to call Town of Wallkill Police at 845-692-6757.
