New York State Police say an Orange County woman was highly intoxicated when she was clocked going over 90 miles per hour on the New York State Thurway. She later physically resisted arrest.

New York State Troopers stopped a vehicle for traveling 91 miles per hour on I-87 in a posted 65 MPH zone and for other traffic violations. Police allege the driver, 51-year-old Mary J. Riley-Frazier, of Goshen, was intoxicated, became belligerent, and physically resisted arrest before being taken into custody.

Riley-Frazier was transported and processed in Newburgh. Her blood alcohol content was determined to be 0.20%, over two times the legal limit of intoxication. She was charged with aggravated driving while intoxicated, a felony and resisting arrest, a misdemeanor. Riley-Frazier was also given multiple vehicle and traffic violations.

Riley-Frazier was turned over to a sober third party and released on appearance tickets returnable to the Town of Woodbury Court on February 2nd.
