A Dutchess County woman working at a local gas station is accused of stealing over $12,000 from the station's ATM.

The Town of Hyde Park Police Department received a complaint from the East Park Mobil station reporting an employee was stealing thousands of dollars from the ATM.
Officials from the company told police that from May 31, 2016 to August 17, 2016 there was a total of $12,720.00 missing from the ATM.

The Hyde Park Police Department along with Mobil’s loss prevention unit determined that Cheryl Flores, of Wappinger Falls was responsible for stealing the money from the ATM. Officials would not say how they identified Flores as the suspect.

Flores was located by authorities and allegedly admitted to the crimes. She was charged with felony grand larceny. Flores was remanded to Dutchess County Jail on $2,500 cash or $5,000 bail bond. She’s due back in court at a later date.
