Two Ulster County man are behind bars after they were allegedly found driving in the Hudson Valley with almost 300 bags of heroin.

On Friday, New York State Police at Kingston pulled over a car in the Town of New Paltz. During the traffic stop 279 bags of heroin was found in the car, police say.

James T. Lyons Jr., 28, of Saugerties and 29-year-old Jerron E. Holloway from Kingston were both charged with fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, a class C Felony.

Lyons and Holloway were arraigned in City of Kingston Court. Lyons was remanded to Ulster County Jail on $2,500 cash $5,000 bond. Holloway was remanded to Ulster County Jail on $7,500 cash $10,000 bond.
