On Thursday morning you'll want to stop at one local Dunkin' Donuts for free breakfast.

As a special treat to morning commuters, one local Dunkin' Donuts will be handing out breakfast sandwiches and more the Thursday morning starting at 6am.

It's all part of an effort to raise money and awareness for Alex's Lemonade Stand, a charity that benefits kids suffering from childhood cancer. The charity has received an incredible amount of local support this year after listeners of The Boris and Robyn Show helped form "Team Kelsey" in honor of a local first grader who lost her battle with cancer in April.

The latest fundraiser happens Thursday, June 28 from 6am to 10am at the Dunkin' Donuts on Ben Gilman Way in Middletown. Everyone who stops by will get a chance to spin the wheel of breakfast with a chance to win a Dunkin’ gift card, a donut, a coffee or one of their delicious breakfast sandwiches.

Everyone who comes by will also be entered for a chance to win a $100 Dunkin' Donuts gift card, plus all customers can enjoy $0.99 Medium Hot or Iced Coffee during the live morning show broadcast.

Other prizes and giveaways will happen and everyone is encouraged to help support Alex's Lemonade Stand. In just a few short months this year's goal of raising $10,000 to fight childhood cancer has already been reached, so we're now setting our sights on an even higher goal that we hope to reach by Labor Day. A recent Dunkin' Donuts breakfast giveaway in Dutchess County raised thousands of dollars for the cause.
