Police are hoping for your help after swastikas were drawn onto multiple cars and buildings in the Hudson Valley near a Democratic political rally featuring Paul Rudd.

On Saturday night, many properties and vehicles in midtown Kingston were vandalized with swastikas, according to Kingston Mayor Steve Noble.

"This hurtful and hateful behavior will not be tolerated here in Kingston," Noble wrote on Facebook.

The swastika graffiti happened while a number of celebrities and Hudson Valley residents held a concert and political rally at the Ulster Performing Arts Center on Broadway in Kingston.

A group of Hudson Valley "concerned citizens" joined together for "Hudson Valley Votes," a rally ahead of the Nov. 6, mid-term elections.

Natalie Merchant headlined "Hudson Valley Votes." She was joined by actors Paul Rudd and Lili Taylor; Aaron Dessner of The National; singer-songwriter Dar Williams; actress and filmmaker Mary Stuart Masterson and activist and author Eve Ensler.

Anyone with information on the hate graffiti is asked to call the Kingston Police Department at 845-331-1671.

"We, as a community have to come together to stop HATE. It has no home here," Noble wrote.
