Michael Paul Morozuk, 67, died October 11, 2017 in Westchester Medical Hospital.

Born December 9, 1949 in Mt. Kisco to Arlene (Eastman) Morozuk and the late Paul Morozuk. Michael grew up in North Salem NY. He later travelled around the world as a Sr Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force. He met and married his ex-wife, Maria, in Zaragoza, Spain on June 21, 1975. After being stationed in Turkey, he retired in 1985 and returned with his family to the area where he grew up.

Michael was an avid sports fan and passed on his love of soccer to both his son and daughter. He enjoyed watching them play and being entertained by all kinds of sports. He likes telling jokes in order to make the world happy. He smiles at everyone he sees in hopes of brightening someone's day.

His warm spirit will be truly missed by everyone who had the pleasure of having Michael be part of their lives. He was a special blend of Christmas morning, New Years Eve and fireworks on the Fourth of July; Love, optimism and a spark of brilliance.

Mr. Morozuk is survived by his children Michael Francis of Stamford, CT and Anna Christina Edwards of New Fairfield, CT., his two nephews, Eric and Chris Gilstad, nieces Lesley and Carolyn Rozycki, Rachel Moran, and sisters Laura Rozycki; brother-in-law Bob, Jeanne Head; brother-in-law Richard, Karen Moran, brother Daniel Morozuk and mother Arlene. He is predeceased by his sister Lynn Morozuk.

A Mass of Catholic burial will be offered on Saturday at 10 AM at St. Denis Church 602 Beekman Rd, Hopewell Junction, NY 12533.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to the Brain & Behavior Research Foundation.
