MaryAnn Fabiano, 77, a former Bus Monitor for West Point Tours and lifelong area resident, entered into rest Saturday, August 12, 2017 at home surrounded by family. The daughter of the late John and Anna (Duch) Gnida, she was born July 12, 1940 in Newburgh. She was married to the late Frank D. Fabiano, whom she married on August 5, 1962 in St. Patrick’s Church, Newburgh.

MaryAnn was a graduate of Newburgh Free Academy and a member of Catholic Daughters. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend, and she was deeply devoted to her faith.

Survivors include her sons, Frank J. Fabiano and his wife Vicki and Joseph D. Fabiano and his wife Paula, all of Newburgh; sisters, Joan Ponesse and her husband Carl of New Windsor and Veronica Taylor and her husband James of Newburgh; grandsons Peter and Joseph Fabiano; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. The family would also like to thank Charles and Patricia Ciccone for all they have done.

Visitation will be held from 4-7 pm Tuesday, August 15 at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave., Newburgh. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 16 at St. Francis of Assisi Church, Newburgh, with burial following in Calvary Cemetery, New Windsor.
