An upstate New York Man was allegedly found in a stolen car in Ulster County. The man is also accused of trying to steal two cell phones from a local restaurant.

On Saturday, New York State Police at Ellenville arrested 40-year-old Charles D. Ulacco, from Vermontville for criminal possession of stolen property, a felony.

State Police from Ulster County responded to a report of a disorderly person at an unnamed restaurant in the Town of Rochester. A further investigation revealed Ulacco attempted to steal two cell phones from workers at the establishment and was in possession of a Jeep Wrangler, which was reported stolen from Saranac Lake, police say.

Ulacco was arraigned in Town of Rochester Court and remanded to the Uslter County Jail. Ulacco is due to re-appear in the Town of Rochester Court at a future date.
