Man Broke Into Vehicle at Hudson Valley Gym, Police Say

A Hudson Valley man is facing felony charges following an investigation into a theft from a vehicle outside an Ulster County gym.

On January 21, at 7:53 p.m. Saugerties Police had responded to the IXL gym, located at 3139 Route 9W for reported theft of a pocketbook from a vehicle in the parking lot.

On February, 9, 2019, subsequent to a police investigation, 29-year old Donley G. Monroe, of Glasco was arrested and charged with felony grand larceny in the fourth-degree, in addition to petit larceny.

Monroe was processed at police headquarters and released on his own recognizance pending a future court appearance on February, 27, 2019, in the Town of Saugerties Justice Court to answer to his charges.
