Ride-sharing service Lyft has announced that it will be providing free or discounted rides to get people to the polls for elections.

press release that they will be offering cheaper rides or free rides to polling locations in an effort to get more eligible voters voting. Across the country, Lyft will be offering 50% off rides to polls in partnership with Vote.org, Nonprofit Vote, TurboVote, and other non-profits. Riders will receive a promo code for the discount.

Lyft will also be offering free rides for underprivileged communities in partnership with more non-profits like Voto Latino, local Urban League affiliates, and the National Federation of the Blind, and more.

Lyft cites a study that states 15 million people were registered to vote but didn’t in 2016 because of transportation issues.
