Update 10 A.M.: Lucero was found in Westchester County in good health. Police thanked members of the public who searched for the missing teen.

A lower Hudson Valley teen is missing again. Last summer, officials believed she ran away to Orange County.

Samanta Lucero, 17, was last seen from her Cortlandt home in January. New York State Police describe her as a 5’9” 140 pound white female with long red hair and brown eyes.

Lucero went missing for almost a month in June 2016. At the time, it was believed she was staying with friends in the Port Jervis area. She ended up being found found in the City Island area of the Bronx in good health.

This time, officials believe Lucero is staying with friends in the Hudson Valley, likely in Westchester County area.

A recent update received by police indicates that Lucero is traveling in the Hudson Valley in a gray 2014 BMW with a Hispanic male driver believed to be in his twenties. The BMW has a NY Registration of HBM 4746, police say.

Anyone with information regarding Samantha’s whereabouts is asked to contact the New York State Police in Cortlandt by calling (914) 769-2600 or 911. Refer to SJS# 7337680.
