The Rosendale Pickle Festival returns for its 20th year on Sunday November 19, 2017. it will be held rain or shine at the Rosendale Recreation Center, 1055 Route 32 South, Rosendale.

Admission is $5 per person, with kids getting in free. Please keep in mind that children are welcome, but pets are not. Service animals will be allowed.

This year, the Pickle Fest Committee is also looking for volunteers to help for the day.  Vendor and sponsorship opportunities still exist as well.

Do you make your own pickles, kimchi or pickled vegetables? Then enter them in the Home Pickling Contest. Here are the categories:

  • Kimchi
  • Dill Pickles
  • Sweet Pickles
  • Pickled Onions/Garlic
  • Dilly Beans
  • Pickled Fruit
  • Pickled Beats
  • Pickled Vegetables
  • Pickled Brussel Spouts
  • Chutneys
  • Fermented Liquid or Semi Liquid product
  • Miscellaneous
  • Best of Show

Or maybe you will want to compete in the Pickle Triathlon. There is a pickle eating contest, pickle juice drinking contest, and then a pickle tossing event (team event).
