The owners of Silent Farm Bed and Breakfast in Goshen have been arrested and charged with endangering the welfare of a vulnerable adult and grand larceny.

The arrests John and Mary Quick were the result of an investigation following the Office of Human Services of Orange County Social Services and the Office of Adult Services of Orange County Social Services removing a 59-year-old mentally disabled man from the stable hand quarters of a barn where he had been living for the past several years.

An investigation determined that the couple assumed control of the man's bank account and removed funds without authorization to do so.

John Quick was arraigned in the Village of Florida Court and remanded to Orange County Jail in lieu of $500 bail or $1000 bond and ordered to appear in the Town of Goshen Court at a later date.

Mary Quick was arraigned in the Village of Court and released on her recognizance and ordered to reappear in the Town of Goshen Court at a later date.
