On Thursday, Dec. 14 an Ulster County grand jury indicted Seth Lyons on a charge of murder in the second degree in the killing Anthony Garro Jr.

Garro's lifeless body was discovered under the Elmendorph Street Bridge on the pre-dawn hours of Nov. 29. Kingston Police and the NYS Police performed an intensive investigation after the discovery. The evidence led them to Seth Lyons, who was located in Kingston. He was taken into custody later on the same day as Garro's body was found.

The Office of the Medical Examiner determined that Garro was the victim of a homicide due to blunt impact head injuries. Lyons who is scheduled for arraignment on Dec. 15 has been indicted on charges of intending to cause the death of Garro and actually causing his death.
