WAPPINGERS FALLS - Kevin Aloysius O’Connor, 29, passed away on December 19, 2017. He had resided and worked in Philadelphia for the past several years.

Kevin was born in Poughkeepsie on March 4, 1988. He graduated from John Jay High School, and received his Bachelor Degree in History from SUNY Binghamton.
Kevin was very creative. A self-taught musician, Kevin wrote and played innovative music. He enjoyed the arts, and liked all forms of literature especially history and philosophy. He taught himself many languages, including German and Latin, to enjoy reading books in their original form.

Kevin is survived by his mother, Lisa (Sardi) Dyer of Wappingers Falls; his father, Thomas G. O’Connor and his wife Kathryn of Wappingers Falls; his brother, Ryan O’Connor and his wife Jessica of Wappingers Falls; his sister, Cassandra Leonard of Wappingers Falls; his niece, Eva O’Connor; his grandmother, Rosemarie Sardi; his closest and dearest friend, Andrea Berg; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Kevin was a gentle, kind, and giving person. People were naturally drawn to his personality and warmth. He was a beautiful soul and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Calling hours will be held on Friday from 4-7 pm at the McHoul Funeral Home of Fishkill, Inc., 1089 Main Street, Fishkill. A funeral service will follow at 7pm at the funeral home.
