James G. Holtman, 58, of Pleasant Valley, passed away Saturday, December 23, 2017, surrounded by his loving family. Dear Father, 58 years ago, you sent us a wonderful gift, who we loved even before he was born. He was a friendly boy and kind and funny. He would joke and laugh, and sing and dance to entertain himself and friends. He had a lovely soft irish heart and always tried to cheer up a sad friend. He loved you and all your creatures. We are sending our gift back to you after carefully caring for him. Please accept him with all our love as a Christmas present for Jesus. Amen. James was born in Poughkeepsie on August 27, 1959, the son of Louis and Virginia Dullahan Holtman. His father is predeceased.
