Irene Barley Davis, a Newburgh Resident, Dies at 58

Irene Barley Davis of Newburgh, passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Kaplan Family Hospice Residence. She was 58.

Born in Newburgh on September 11, 1958, she was the daughter of Walter and Daisy Palmer Barley. She married Jeff Davis in June 2009 in New Windsor. Jeff survives her at home.

Left to cherish her memory in addition to her husband Jeff, Irene is survived by her mother Daisy Barley; three step children; her brothers Walter Barley and his wife Emily, James H Barley, Richard A. Barley, and Kevin J. Barley; her sister Marie L. Barley and her companion Bob; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She was predeceased by her father Walter Barley Sr.

Visitation will be held from 5-8pm on Friday, April 28, at Brooks Funeral Home, 481 Gidney Ave, Newburgh. A graveside service will take place at 10am on Saturday, April 29 at Woodlawn Cemetery, New Windsor.
