Two people were arrested after a local woman allegedly stalked, intimidated and harassed a minor.

The Ulster County Sheriff's Office arrested 37-year-old Gustav Gock and Kristina Cossingham, 26, both of Rosendale.

Cossingham was charged with intimidating a witness, a felony and misdemeanors for stalking, harassment, criminal contempt and falsely reporting an incident. Gock was charged with falsely reporting an incident, a misdemeanor.

On Friday around 5 p.m., Gock and Cossingham contacted the Rosendale Police, alleging that a juvenile made a lewd gesture and jumped in front of the car they were driving in Bloomington.

Deputies and Rosendale Police later obtained evidence which contradicted this allegation, police say.

Cossingham is accused of violating a court order prohibiting her from committing a criminal offense against the minor. Her remaining charges were the result of an ongoing investigation into the interactions between Cossingham the minor and other family members of the juvenile.

Gock was released with an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Rosendale Court on a later date. Cossingham was remanded to the Ulster County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash bail or $6,000 secured bond.

Awful grades for local hospitals, tragedies, and a police standoff tops this week in Hudson Valley news.
