A Hudson Valley winery won multiple awards at the annual New York Wine Classic.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the winners of the 33rd Annual New York Wine Classic this week in a press release. Surprisingly, only 1 Hudson Valley winery was amongst the winners.

The categories in the New York Wine Classic were the 'best of category' and the 'best of class'. Each category had winners for white and red wines.

For the Best of Category for Best Dessert Wine, Brotherhood Winery won for their 2017 Late Harvest Riesling. In the Best of Class category, Brotherhood took home multiple awards. They won Best Cabernet Sauvignon for their 2015 New York Icon Cabernet Sauvignon Single Vineyard. They also won Best Merlot for their 2014 New York Icon Merlot Single Vineyard. The final award they won was for Best Late Harvest for their 2017 Late Harvest Riesling. Their 2017 Late Harvest Riesling took home two awards total.
