After Toys R Us announced they would be closing all U.S. stores in June, a Dutchess County location has already closed.

A mid-Hudson Valley Toys R Us has closed before the anticipated June closing of all the chain's stores nationwide. The Kingston Toys R Us has closed. While I do not know the official date it closed, their Yelp page confirms it is no longer in business.

It was announced in January that the Kingston location was going to close this month, but it was unknown if they would remain open through June.

Toys R Us is still having their liquidation sale going on at all locations. However, gift cards to the story will no longer be accepted and now have no cash value. The day the liquidation sale began, the company's founder died at age 94.

Following suit of Toys R Us, Bonton also announced it would close all their locations, including the one in Orange County.
