A Hudson Valley teen is accused of possessing child pornography.

On Tuesday, New York State Police from Poughkeepsie arrested 18-year-old Colin G. Andrews of Millerton for possessing a sexual performance by a child, a class E felony.

Andrews was arrested following an investigation conducted by the Internet Crimes Against Children task force. Following a search warrant and the seizure of electronic devices, Andrews was found to be in possession of pornographic images involving children, police say.

Andrews was arraigned in the Town of North East Court and released on his own recognizance. He is due to appear in the Town of North East Court on Feb. 28.

The Internet Crimes Against Children is a multiagency task force that combats the sexual exploitation of children via the internet.
