A Hudson Valley teenager is accused of raping a young girl several times.

Wednesday, State Police at Liberty arrested 19-year-old Daniel Luiso, 19, of Grahamsville after an investigation into an allegation of rape.

Police say they determined that Luiso engaged in several sexual encounters with a 14-year-old female during the month of August.

Luiso was charged with two-counts of rape and two-counts of criminal sexual act, felonies. The charges are based upon the victim's inability to consent and do not indicate force was used to commit the crime, authorities say.

Luiso was arraigned in the Town of Fallsburg Court and remanded to the Sullivan County Jail with bail set at $50,000 cash.
