A former Hudson Valley teacher accused of having sexual contact with underage students accepted a plea deal.

In Westchester County Court, 41-year-old Christopher Schraufnagel plead guilty to 3 counts of endangering the welfare of a child, class A misdemeanors.

In court, Schraufnagel admitting to subjecting two of the three victims to sexual contact.

According to the Westchester County District Attorney’s Office, From May 1, 2011 to June 5, 2015, Schraufnagel, a former speech and drama teacher at Horace Greeley High School in Chappaqua, engaged in numerous instances of sexual assault, inappropriate sexual conduct and contact with a total of three underage students from the school.

As part of the proposed plea deal the former Horace Greeley teacher will face three years of probation with sex offender conditions which will include work, residency restrictions as well as sex offender treatment. He must also surrender his New York State Teaching Certificate.

Schraufnagel will be sentenced on November 10.
