A Hudson Valley man is going to spend a number of years in jail after he violently stabbed his girlfriend and her son.

In July, 38-year-old Bairon Farez Llanos of White Plains was found guilty of two counts of attempted murder, assault, attempted assault and two counts of criminal possession of a weapon.

In July of 2015, Llano approached the victim outside of her home and grabbed her by both ears until her ears began to bleed. He then grabbed a knife and stabbed her multiple times.

The woman suffered wounds to her neck, shoulder, ear and thyroid gland, and had her internal jugular vein shredded.

During the course of the attack, the victim’s son tried to protect his mother. Llanos was able to get on top of the boy and attempted to stab him in the heart. The son deflected the weapon and only suffered a cut to his chest.

The unnamed female victim survived the brutal accident after undergoing emergency surgery at Westchester Medical Center.

On Friday in Westchester County Court, Llanos was sentenced to 30 years in state prison.
