An Orange County man has been arrested and charged with Attempted Murder in the second-degree. 

City of Newburgh Police responded to a report of a fight in progress. When they arrived, police found a 48 year-old male, unconscious on the ground. He was transported to St. Luke's Hospital and admitted. His name, and condition are not being released at this time. there were no weapons used during this incident, according to a Press Release.

Following a police investigation, Kelsin Riveria, 30, of Newburgh (Pictured Above) was arrested and charged with Attempted Murder in the second-degree. He is being held pending arraignment in City Court. His bail status is unknown.

Police also identified a second suspect, Richard Vallejo, 28, of Newburgh (Picture Above) in connection to this incident. Richard Vallejo is also wanted by NYS Parole and U.S. Marshal's for a prior parole violation.
