A Hudson Valley hotel has received a major award that puts them in the same league as some of the world's classiest. According to the Times Herald-Record, Conde Nast Traveler has placed The DeBruce hotel in Sullivan County on the 2018 Hot List. It's an award that is dished out to the 102 most buzzworthy hotel openings of the year. Why 102? We may never know.

Located in the Town of Rockland, the 14-room establishment is situated on a 600-acre property complete with private trails and prime views of the Catskill mountains. It's run by Foster Supply House which owns and operate several small hotels in the area.

FSH is a group of rurally independent hotels and inns in the Catskill Mountains. We build soulful and thoughtful hotels in unexpected places. Each property honors its past and is also keenly attuned to what today’s world and guest desires.

Owners Sims Foster and his wife Kirsten plan to open a new 30-room hotel in Kenoza Lake in the spring of 2019, according to the Record.
