Chuck E. Cheese is always a treat for young kids in the Hudson Valley. However, for some the experience can be a little overwhelming.

Children with autism and with other special needs are invited to participating Chuck E. Cheese locations this Sunday, April 8th (and the first Sunday of every month), for Sensory Sensitive Sundays.

Chuck E. Cheese will be opening their locations 2 hours earlier so that children with special needs can enjoy their time at the play-place. Food and games will be offered with a trained and caring staff as well as reduced lighting and noise.

Several locations across the U.S are participating, as well as many in New York. However there is only one location participating in the Hudson Valley. The Chuck E. Cheese Middletown location (8 Orange Plaza Ln Middletown, NY 10940) will be participating in Sensory Sensitive Sunday.

For more details about Chuck E. Cheese Sensory Sensitive Sunday visit their website or call the Middletown location at (845) 342-5781.
