It is that time of year again when we need to start thinking about that letter to Santa. As a child we were encouraged to write Jolly Old St. Nick a letter to ensure he knew what we were hoping to receive on Christmas. This was also an awesome way for our parents to get the list of what we really wanted to see under the tree.

Writing a letter to Santa is still something I enjoy doing as an adult. I no longer actually mail them to the North Pole but I do keep them year to year as sort of a journal. It is interesting to see what I am hopeful for each year and whether Santa actually delivered the gift I requested.

As a child we can put those thoughts out there knowing that this magical guy will arrive with our requests on December 25th as long as we have been good. As an adult I find it more of a goal setting task because let's face it Santa may be a guide for us but we really are going to have to work towards want we want on our own.

This year if you haven't done it in a while take a moment and write your letter to Santa. Tell him what you are hoping for on Christmas morning. Writing it down is part of making it real. And yes even if you don't mail it Santa still knows that you asked. That is part of the magic. Oh and yes I still believe in Santa Claus!

If you decide you want to mail your here is the address for Santa.
