High pressure will continue to strengthen over the Hudson Valley.  This will continue to give us hot and humid day, then muggy nights.  This dry and hot weather pattern is expected to last through Wednesday.

Tuesday will be warmer than Monday, with temps near 91 and a heat index as high of 97.  There will be a heat advisory that will go into effect starting at noon and will last until 8pm at night.  Wednesday looks just as hot, it will start to cool off a bit on Thursday, although not much.  Friday, we drop back into the 70’s.

Tuesday:  Mostly sunny, hot and humid.  High near 91.  Heat index value as high as 97. Heat advisory runs from 12p to 8pm.

Tuesday night:  Mostly cloudy, low around 67.

Wednesday:  Mostly sunny and hot, high near 90.  Heat index values as high as 96.

Thursday:  Partly sunny and hot, high near 90.  A chance of showers and thunderstorms.
