So you are digging out the lights to hang everything up decorating your house for the holidays, did you think about checking to see if any have been recalled? Gasp! Yes, there is a chance that the lights that you are getting ready to hang up could be a hazard.

Here is info on one that has been recalled and where you can check for updates through out the year for additional recalls. The most recent light set that has been recalled is the Moonrays Mystic Globe and Snow Globe Stake Lights.

The product in question was sold starting in August of 2016 for about $20. The lights which came in many different shapes, snowman, Santa, Christmas Tree and more, were found to be a fire hazard.

If you own any of these you are to contact the parent company Southwire at 888-847-8709. If you ever want to see if an item that you own has been recalled, you can go to the Consumer Product Safety Commission and check for updates. cpsc.gov
