The classic 1980s film Gremlins makes its return to the big screen in the Hudson Valley this weekend. Ulster Performing Arts Center in Kingston will show the popular movie Friday night at 7:30. They're breaking out 1980s prices too, it'll only cost you $6.

The story tells the age-old tale of not feeding your mogwai after midnight or bad things will happen. The Mogwai, named Gizmo, gets fed after midnight and hijinx ensue. Due to numerous complaints about its original PG rating, Gremlins is partly responsible for the creation of the PG-13 rating.

Ulster Performing Arts Center is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. It originally opened in 1926 before closing in the early '80s. The theater underwent renovations and reopened in 2002. Having recently completed a $5 million dollar renovation, the facility is now able to host events year round.
