It is hard to believe that the Hudson Valley 2018 golf season is coming to a close. Us fans of the game will get out there as often as we can until mother nature says the season is over but boy it seems like this summer went way to fast for those of us who like to hit the links.

Fall golf can be fun. And as long as the frost can hold off, we can enjoy a few more rounds. As a matter of fact you can even have some fun this month with the West Point Golf Course. They are holding a Ghoulish Scramble on October 27th which might be the perfect way to close out your Hudson Valley gold season. It is a scramble format that kicks of at 9am.

I have been known to play golf into November but something is telling me with the summer and fall that we have had this year, late season golf maybe out for the question. I say get out there and grab every round you can before the snow flies.

A few Places where you can still enjoy a round are:

Apple Greens in Highland - (845) - 883-5500

Fall golf in the Hudson Valley can be so enjoyable. The temperatures and the views are some of the best in late season golf. Although most of us enjoy a warm summer day on the links, we can all agree that when the weather takes that cooler turn and the trees begin to show signs of the fall there is still plenty of great golf to play. There is plenty of time before we have to pack the clubs away for the next season. See you on the course a few more times in 2018.
