The scene of changing leaves may be something that we all take for granted here in New York. We aren't quite in the season yet but it never hurts to start planning early.

You've probably noticed that it's getting a little cooler outside. We may even start to get this thing called frost. As the Fall season approaches we have a lot to look forward to. We'll soon be able to enjoy the beauty of the changing leaves in New York and right here in the Hudson Valley.

The best time to monitor the leaves changing here is late September to mid October.

Here are a few ways that you can enjoy the changing leaves locally.

  • Scenic Drives
  • Zip Line Tours
  • Adirondack Scenic Railroad
  • Hikes
  • State and Local Parks

I according to I Love New York's website, a few of the best spots include Prospect Mountain near Lake George, the Catskill Forest Preserve, the Zipline adventure at Hunter Mountain and the Empire State Building even offers a great view.

How do you enjoy the leaves here in New York?
