Rob Begley, known by Vik Dalishus to many, has entertained Hudson Valley wrestling fans near and far for many years. In late 2017, he suffered a tragic injury in the ring that prevented him from working to support his family. While friends, family and fans rallied to his side, a recent set back in his recovery means more time in the operating room.

A fundraiser has been announced in his name at Mahoney's on May 20 from 3-7. Tickets will be $20 and will be on sale soon. There will be live music from Lucky House and the event is hosted by Larry Dallas.

A recent update on Rob's GoFundMe Page filled everyone in on the recent setback: "I got word today that I will be having surgery on Monday Morning. While looking closer at the CT scan and X-rays, it was determined that not only did I re-break my Tibia, I also broke the metal plate that was inserted in December. I will have a Steel rod put into my Tibia, and the plates will be replaced."
