The forecast is still calling for showers and thunderstorms at the time I write this. As we wait for a low-pressure system and a few fronts to pass our way.  Once that happens, you'll see the warmer weather disappear from the Hudson Valley area.

It's not going to be super cold, but Friday's high temperature will only be in the mid-60s. Saturday we will struggle to get to sixty.  How's the outlook for Mother's Day? Cloudy with a chance of showers. The weekend definitely isn't sunshine and blue skies.

Here's the latest from the National Weather Service:

Friday, mostly sunny with a high near 66.

Friday night, showers and thunderstorms are possible. Clouds on the increase with a low near 47.

Saturday, showers and thunderstorm are expected. Cloudy with a high near 63.

Sunday, mostly cloudy with a chance of showers and a high near 66.
