The Friday morning snow has resulted in several snow closings throughout the Hudson Valley area.

Residents were bracing for the storm that was predicted to dump up to six inches of snow in certain parts of the Hudson Valley. The quick moving storm was supposed to hit the southern part of the region harder, leaving much of Ulster and Northern Dutchess with just an inch or two.

Early this morning Route 84 and roads leading up through Poughkeepsie were wet, but clear of snow. That's expected to change for southern areas of the Hudson Valley as wet, heavy snow continues to fall.

Schools in Orange County have already started to delay or outright close this morning. You can check out the full list on our snow database below.

Be sure to check back throughout the morning for updates on snow totals, traffic conditions and snow closings and delays.
