If you haven't realized, it's cold outside.

Allegedly, there is big storm coming through the Hudson Valley this weekend. Allegedly.

With the winter weather coming, you're probably thinking of ways to cure your cabin fever. Well if you're in or visiting the Dutchess County area and you have your own pair of ice skates you could be in for some fun.

Dutchess County Goverment announced on Facebook on Monday, January 14th, that ice skating is once again open at Bowdoin Park in Wappingers. The rink is open daily from 8am until 5pm. Entry is free for skaters, however you must bring your own skates and protective gear.

Bowdoin Park, located at 85 Sheaf Road in Wappingers, is open in the winter from 8am-5pm and in the summer from 8am until 9pm. While the skating rink is the star of the show during the winter months, Bowdoin is known for their hiking trails, playground and picnicking areas.
