Frederic A. Rosenhagen, a Longtime Area Resident, Dies at 51

Frederic A. Rosenhagen, 51, an area resident for 24 years and formerly of Somers, died on August 5, 2017 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center following a courageous battle with cancer.

Ric was born in Manhattan on September 8, 1965. Ric had been employed as a Field Technician with Verizon in Newburgh for many years. He enjoyed traveling, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

On December 1, 1987 in Yorktown Heights, Ric married Carol Stipo who survives at home. He is also survived by his children and their spouses, Ric Joseph and Amanda Rosenhagen of Wappingers Falls, and Samantha and Steve Lehnert of Poughquag; and his grandchildren, Francesco, Natalie, Remy (who was born shortly after his death), and Jack (who is arriving in September).

Calling hours will be held on Saturday from 12-4pm at the McHoul Funeral Home, Inc., 895 Route 82, Hopewell Junction. The Funeral Service will follow at 4pm.
