Firefighters responded to a Father's Day blaze in the City of Poughkeepsie.

At around 11AM on Saturday, June 17, a 911 call reported a fire in the building of 6 Eastman Terrace. Within minutes, a second alarm was put out and mutual aid was requested.

All people and animals made it out unharmed according to Mark Johnson, chief of the Poughkeepsie Fire Department.
