Auditions will be held in October in New York City.

If you are like me and you have ever sat and watched an episode of the popular game show the Family Feud and said to yourself, "My family would kill it on this show," this could be the break you were looking for.

According to the Family Feud website, if you want your family to be on an upcoming episode of the feud, they are holding auditions Oct. 21 and 22 in New York.

You do need to make an appointment for the in person auditions and when you go to the local tryouts, your family will get a chance to play a shortened mock game of family feud against another family.

Now if you want to have your family audition for the show, they have a few rules. Like, you must have 5 family members related by blood, marriage or legal adoption, you must be a U.S. citizen or have permission to work within the United States, there is no age requirement to be on Family Feud, but they suggest that contestants are 15 years or older due to the nature of the questions.

If you are interested in signing up to play online only, go to the Feud website and fill out some information and if your family is selected you will receive a postcard in the mail within 4 weeks to let you know that you've been selected.

Good luck!
