Join us this October for our Afternoon and Evening Book Groups at Red Hook Public Library! Newcomers always welcome!

The Afternoon Book Group continues this fall 2:30 PM, Tuesday, October 9. Join us as we discuss The Hero with a Thousand Faces by Joseph Campbell. Since its publication in 1949, The Hero with a Thousand Faces has influenced millions of readers with its insights of modern psychology along with Campbell’s groundbreaking understanding of comparative mythology. The Afternoon Book Group is held at Red Hook Library every second Tuesday of the month, at 2:30 PM.

The Evening Book Group continues this fall at 6:45 PM, Monday, October 15, at Red Hook Public Library. Join us as we discuss The Handmaid’s Tale by Margaret Atwood. Find out more about this famous dystopian novel by the Canadian author, Margaret Atwood, which explores themes of women in subjugation in a patriarchal society. The Evening Book Group is held at Red Hook Library every third Monday of the month, at 6:45 PM.

The Afternoon and Evening Book Clubs are free and open to the public with no registration required.
