Additional Information

On October 27th, Habitat for Humanity of Dutchess County will be hosting a community event in conjunction with national Make A Difference Day at its ReStore in Poughkeepsie. Traditionally, we have participated in Make A Difference Day by supporting a variety of community-driven service projects. This year, we are celebrating our ReStore’s successful diversion of approximately 300 tons of material from the landfill since its opening in 2016.

That milestone could not have been reached without the ongoing support of our surrounding communities. To show our appreciation, ReStore will be holding a Make A Difference Day Community Block Party. The event will be free to the public and will feature food trucks, live music, crafts for kids Halloween costumes and trick or treating. ReStore will have a 75% off the entire store sale! The Block Party will be held in the parking area of the ReStore, located at 625 Dutchess Turnpike in Poughkeepsie
