Additional Information

Greetings!
This is Patrick Stanfield Jones,
a longtime multi-faceted entertainer that has been asked to put my efforts to help out a worthy cause. If at all possible, could you direct me to the right people to help out this great organization. Safe Harbors of the Hudson is a large scale redevelopment project in the city of Newburgh whose mission is transforming lives and building community through housing and the arts.
A mixed-use, non-profit housing and arts redevelopment project, it began in 2002 with the purchase of the Hotel Newburgh, a once proud destination, that had deteriorated over the years.
Physically connected to the Historic Ritz Theater,
Safe Harbors is working to restore the Ritz and create a large-scale community performance space where such greats as Lucille Ball and Frank Sinatra made debut performances,
In 2006, the ribbon was cut on Safe Harbors Cornerstone Residence, 128 units of supportive housing for the formerly homeless, veterans, our neighbors living with mental health diagnoses and physical disabilities.
A variety of programming, a free GED and college prep program; a computer lab, fitness center, wellness program, library, tutoring, outings and events.
In 2015 Safe Harbors built a beautiful, fully accessible, sustainable park on a long vacant half acre lot, which now provides park space for community gathering, public art, performances, markets and events.
We also host a variety of community events to include an annual community clean-up, a holiday fair, a 5K, summer theater workshops, and a circus camp.
€€The Historic Ritz Theater is part of the project and for many years has been vacant while Safe Harbors works to restore the space to a multi-use, multi-venue community performing arts space. In 2016, the organization was awarded state funds to replace the failing roof on the theater, beginning its resurgence as a downtown performance venue.
All proceeds from the concert will help Raise the Roof on the Ritz!
Please tell me who I can contact to get this on the proper community calendar or 'Bands appearing' in your community area.
Thank you so much,
Patrick S. Jones
